Forum member Martha posted this with another Recycling message, so I'll repost it here also: It seems appropriate to add this to the notice about Cherokee Village recycling: For some items that can't be taken to the recycling center, you can call T&D Recycling at 257-1113. They are the people who put up the “Don't Dump” signs around the village. The Rettig brothers, Terry and “Duck” will pick up items like old appliances, scrap metal, old tires, etc., from your home, free of charge. They do it for the salvage value of the items, and they also accept donations to cover expenses for gasoline, etc. |
