This Forum was started in December 2006, using another site for our Bulletin Board. That board was very useful and served its initial purpose in gathering together Users interested in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. That board received 21,000 hits, with nearly 5,000 messages posted by our membership.

This current Board format & location was selected in 2008. In addition to Cherokee Village residents, we have members from across the great USA, and Europe, including lot owners, prospective residents and prospective lot owners. Earlier that year we expanded our coverage area to include the neighboring towns of Hardy, Highland, and Ash Flat, Arkansas.



No Member is required to post. We do encourage everyone to share their views and comments, but that is your decision to make. Regularly posting Contributing Members have unlimited email and PM messages, and can view the Forum Membership List. We do not sell, collect, distribute, or reveal your email address to anyone. Only you can reveal your email address to your fellow Forum Members, if you choose.

We lost our City Hospital a few years back, with hope of re-opening it or even building a new facility. We have a brand new Urgent Care facility, open till 11 PM every day, and several excellent general Physicians, and a few Specialists available.

These guy's are in charge of all the Village Amenities and subsidize the operational expenses of the Streets and Roads, and Fire Department. SID is run by a Board Of Commisioners, Serving A Life Term.
